3. Personal Professional Development (Download Form)
- Purpose
Personal Professional Development Plans reflect on one of the Goals of Education, that of life long learning. Teachers engaging in professional development activities are models for students. As reflective practitioners, teachers deliberately question all facets of their teaching in a planned and systematic way. They identify what they need to learn and develop the learning experiences.
The Personal Professional Development Plan is a way to respond to the need to remain current. All educators are at different stages of actualization of SK Learning Core Curriculum Components and Initiatives. The Personal Professional Development Plan allows them to take responsibility for their own learning. -
