Lucy Baker provides a variety of services to middle years students aged 12 to 16. It was established in 1975 as an outreach program of St. Mary High School and was simply called Alternate School. In the mid-nineties the name was changed to Lucy Baker Alternate School. The school has been located in various locales from the Knights of Columbus Hall to the top floor of a plumbing shop. It settled in its present location in 1986.
